Launched on the BBC’s CBeebies channel in 2012, the part live action part animated pre school series soon became a firm favourite and fixture in the schedules.

 

The series’ success and popularity spawned a wide ranging and successful licensed CP programme across category and multiple retail channels managed by BWI.

RSPB - CHARITY 

The charity continues to strive to protect and enhance the habitat and wildlife in the UK. It undertakes vital conservation work enabling everybody to get closer to nature.

The extensive membership base, its collection of nature reserves and publicity were the foundation for a comprehensive licensing programme featuring many different categories with merchandise available in multiple retail stores.

RNLI - CHARITY

The RNLI is the charity that saves lives at sea, rescuing on average 23 people a day. The organisation is all about ordinary people doing extraordinary things. 

The brand lent itself to developing a successful licensing programme from children’s toys through to utilising recycled lifesaver garments to create new and exciting consumer products. The licensing revenue stream directly helped save people’s lives.

HUMBLE

Kate Humble, TV presenter, author and farmer embarked on creating and developing her own lifestyle brand with BWI, seeking to focus on an environmentally friendly approach

BWI developed the brand name and logo and brand positioning with the first range of licensed products - bath and beauty products - launching nationally through retail. The innovative product range uses recycled and recyclable product and packaging whilst still delivering beautiful products.

ROY OF THE ROVERS

Egmont Publishing

Roy of The Rovers began life as a comic strip in the popular Tiger comic in the 1950s, quickly gaining iconic status. The first stand alone ROTR comic launched in 1976, published until 1993. At its peak selling over 200,000 copies every week.

A range of licensed merchandise was created and launched tapping into the thirst for nostalgia brands.

THE FAMOUS FIVE - ENID BLYTON

The Famous Five is one the longest running and most successful book published franchises globally, created and written by one of Britain’s best known authors, Enid Blyton.

One of the most recognised literary brands in the world with a book sold every minute, over 1 million sold every year worldwide.

BWI relaunched consumer products programme and created new style guide for delivering quality products.

THE NEXT STEP

Boat Rocker Brands and CBBC

BAFTA winning tween reality style scripted drama series following the lives of a group of dancers attempting to win the regional dance championships.

Multiple series produced and broadcast since launch in 2014.

TV series complimented by a Live Tour in theatres across the UK.

Licensed merchandise created and delivered across retail in the UK, Australia and New Zealand.
